1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Al-Bayan Academy website and online classes, you confirm your acceptance of these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, users, parents, and students.

2. Services Provided

Al-Bayan Academy provides online educational services including Quran memorization, Tajweed, Islamic Studies, and Arabic Language tutoring. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time without prior notice.

3. Eligibility and Registration

To use our services, you must register and enroll via our platform or direct contact. If you are registering on behalf of a minor (under the age of 18), you must be their parent or legal guardian. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration.

4. Student & Tutor Conduct

We take pride in fostering a respectful and Islamic environment. We expect the following:

• Punctuality: Both students and tutors are expected to attend classes on time. If a student is late by more than 15 minutes, the class may be marked as missed.
• Modesty and Adab: Proper Islamic attire and respectful communication are required from both students and tutors during live video sessions.
• Respect: Any form of abuse, harassment, or inappropriate behavior towards our staff or tutors will result in immediate termination of services without a refund.

5. Cancellations and Make-up Classes

We understand that life happens. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our students and our hardworking tutors:

• Advance Notice: If you need to cancel or modify a scheduled class, please provide at least 12 hours' notice. Missed classes with proper notice will be eligible for a make-up session.
• No-Shows: If a student misses a class without prior notice (No-show), the class will be counted as attended, and no make-up session will be provided.
• Tutor Absence: If a tutor is unable to attend, we will assign a substitute tutor or schedule a make-up class at a time convenient for you.

6. Payments and Refunds

Our payment terms are outlined in our pricing agreement upon enrollment.

• Payments are generally processed on a monthly subscription basis in advance of the classes.
• Refund Policy: If you are unhappy with the service, you may request a refund for the remaining unused classes of the current month. Classes already attended or counted as no-shows are non-refundable.
• We reserve the right to change our tuition fees, but we will notify active students at least 30 days in advance of any changes.

7. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to provide the best possible education, Al-Bayan Academy and its teachers shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or the inability to use our services.

8. Intellectual Property

All content included on this site, such as text, graphics, logos, images, and educational materials provided during the course, are the property of Al-Bayan Academy or its content suppliers and protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express consent.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the general principles of Islamic law and the relevant local jurisdictions where our operations are registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
